TRAINING – Are you ‘Down syndrome ready?’

As we start a new academic year Wendy Uttley, Laura Hempel and Jenn Casper-Smith are all available to deliver training, assessments, observations and consultations.

WHOLE SCHOOL TRAINING

Whole school training called ‘Introduction to Down syndrome’ is our most popular CPD accredited course and can be delivered over 2 hours as a twilight session.

Experience demonstrates that such training at the beginning of the school year can make a massive difference to the inclusion, development and education of a child with Down syndrome.

FACE TO FACE CPD TRAINING AT OUR CENTRE: INTRODUCTION TO DOWN SYNDROME (birth to 12),

On Wednesday 23rd September, 9.30am to 12.30pm, Laura Hempel and Jenn Casper-Smith will deliver the ‘Introduction to Down syndrome’ course in person at our centre. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet our experts, other school staff, and visit our centre. The course is FREE or by donation.

‘This course has been so valuable in supporting us to develop our curriculum. This will definitely impact provision and therefore progress for the pupil.’ SCHOOL

The course was great and met my needs. Wednesday 10-11 worked well for me. I would have struggled to concentrate after school with the children around. I appreciated the recordings too when C had appointments etc and I missed the live sessions. Thanks so much for all your training.’ PARENT
