Printed copies of the SEND
Local Offer noticeboard will be distributed to schools for the start of the school term to help with sharing of key information about Bradford District’s
Local Offer. The noticeboard contains a selection of A4 posters with important information for families of children or young people with Special Educational Needs, and/or Disabilities (SEND).
Please can you ensure the posters are displayed in any area where parent carers are likely to see the information when they come into school. If you need additional copies of the posters these can be found on the
Local Offer noticeboard page of the Local Offer website.
In a recent parent/carer survey 60% of families said they were aware of the SEND
Local Offer. So, any further support you can offer to reach more families – including letting families know about the monthly
SEND newsletter and Local Offer
Facebook page we run as part of the Bradford District’s Local Offer would be appreciated.
If you have someone in your school who leads on communication with families through social media work or school apps please ask them to contact
SENDT&C@bradford.gov.uk so they can be contacted directly with future updates too.
