Visitors can wander through the landscape and enjoy this immersive symphonic experience against the backdrop of panoramic views across the Bradford district. The Bracken Hall Countryside Centre and Museum will also be open during the weekend, offering free
drop-in family activities.
Flower Carpet
24-27 September | Centenary Square, Bradford | Free
The internationally renowned Flower Carpet project comes to the UK for the first time this September. Created by local artist Shiraaz Ali and inspired by Bradford's textile heritage and communities, the spectacular 29-metre-wide artwork will be
handcrafted using more than 300,000 dahlia flowerheads.
Installed in Centenary Square, the living artwork will evolve over four days in response to its environment. Each evening from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, visitors can enjoy a special sound and light show illuminating the display. Free flower-inspired family activities
will also take place over the weekend.
Please share these opportunities with pupils, parents and carers who may be interested in attending.
