Families across the Bradford district can enjoy some summer fun for free as the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme returns to local parks.
The popular events will take place during the school holidays on selected dates from late July to August. They are open to children aged 5 to 14.
Each session includes a range of activities such as sports, inflatables, dance, arts and crafts, and adventure play. The events are designed to help children stay active, try new things and have fun in a safe outdoor space.
The programme is funded by the Department for Education. It helps families take part in free activities during school holidays.
All events run from 11am to 3pm. There is no need to book. Families only need to register their children at the event on the day and join in.
Children who get benefits-related free school meals can also receive a free healthy packed lunch, while supplies last.

“These fun days are a great way for children and families to enjoy the summer holidays together. The free events bring people together, encourage active play and give children the chance to try something new in their local park.”
Parents and carers need to stay and supervise their children during the sessions.
