New Fully Funded Business Admin and Customer Service Courses for Adults

Skills for Work is seeking support from schools to promote two new fully funded courses starting in Sept 2026. These qualifications provide an excellent opportunity for adults looking to gain new skills, change careers, return to work, or progress into customer service and/or business admin roles.

We would be grateful if schools could share this opportunity with:

  • Administrative and support staff looking to develop new skills
  • Parents and carers seeking employment or wanting to return to work
  • Volunteers considering their next career step
  • Members of the wider school community who may benefit from fully funded training and development opportunities

New Courses Starting September 2026:

NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Business Administration

This course helps learners develop practical workplace skills, including:

  • Verbal and written communication in a business environment
  • Using office equipment and workplace systems
  • Managing time and workloads effectively
  • Understanding safe and fair workplace practices
  • Preparing for progression into employment or further learning

NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Customer Service

Learners will gain valuable skills in:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries and resolving problems
  • Working within organisational policies and procedures
  • Effective communication and problem solving
  • Time and workload management
  • Preparing for progression into employment or further study

Both qualifications are designed to build confidence and provide learners with transferable skills that can be applied across a wide range of sectors and industries.

Who Are These Courses For?

The courses are fully funded and suitable for learners who are:

  • Aged 19 or over
  • Looking to enter customer-facing or office-based employment
  • Considering a career change
  • Returning to work after a break
  • Employed (earning under £26,800 per annum) or unemployed
  • Able to work at a minimum Level 1 standard in English and ICT

Convenient City Centre Location

Courses are delivered in person at Skills for Work, Britannia House, 1st Floor, Hall Ings
Bradford BD1 1HX.  Located just a short walk from Bradford Interchange and city centre transport links.
