Year 6 Transition Workshop for Schools
Starting secondary school is a big step, and we want to help pupils feel confident, prepared and excited for the journey ahead.
Step 2 is offering a FREE 1.5-hour interactive transition workshop for Year 6 pupils, designed to support children as they prepare for secondary school.
During the workshop, pupils will:
? Build confidence and recognise their strengths
? Explore myths and facts about secondary school
? Learn how to manage peer pressure and practise assertiveness
? Develop self-reflection skills and set positive goals
? Ask questions and discuss any worries about the transition
? Learn practical tips to help them feel organised and prepared
The workshop is engaging, interactive and designed to leave pupils feeling more confident about the move to secondary school.
