Please see the file of downloadable resources to learn about this year's Summer Reading Challenge and how your children can get involved.

Check out the Summer Reading Challenge resources

The resources include a letter to teachers which tells you all about the challenge. You will also find a school presentation which can be used in assemblies across Bradford to promote the challenge with your pupils aged 4 – 11 years, alongside other promotional materials for the Summer Reading Challenge, such as copy for parents and carers, a flyer and poster.

Look out for our exciting FREE family events happening in our libraries across the summer.

We will let you know which children in your school complete the challenge so that you can arrange any special celebrations in the new term.

This year, we are also continuing to offer our Young Ambassador programme for 14-19 year olds who are interested in volunteering with Bradford Libraries. Please contact samantha.mcgee@bradford.gov.uk for more information.

And finally, why not encourage pupils to recommend a read with the attached bookmark activity where your pupils get to share a recommendation with a friend ??

Please contact samantha.mcgee@bradford.gov.uk if you have any queries.
