As a follow-up to the information session held last month, the LA is making the slides from that presentation available to schools and trusts that weren’t able to attend.

If you would like to be sent the slides or have questions about the programme, please email sufficiency@bradford.gov.uk

Key points to consider:

  • The focus of the programme is place creation in areas of need
  • The LA’s sufficiency assessment has not identified any areas of need for additional 3- and 4-year-old provision, but there are pockets of need for provision for younger children
  • The DfE’s assessment process prioritises projects in deprived areas offering the best value for money (based on cost per place)
