Grants to support the establishment of trees, orchards and hedgerows on streets, in parks, and in community and educational spaces are now available – with funding opportunities for communities across the United Kingdom.

Now open are the small grant fund, Branching Out, offering pots of £250 to £2,500 to community and school groups, UK-wide and Network Rail Community Planting Fund, providing funding of between £2,500 and £10,000 in England, Wales and Scotland.

The Tree Council brings everyone together with a shared mission to care for trees and our planet’s future. We inspire and empower organisations, government, communities and individuals with the knowledge and tools to create positive, lasting change at a national and local level.

Network Rail Community Tree Planting Fund

Grants of between £2,500 and £10,000 for projects in England, Scotland and Wales. Open to wide-range of applicants, including local authorities, community groups and landowners.

Branching Out Fund

Grants of between £250 and £2,500 for community groups, schools, small registered charities, and Tree Warden Networks (among others) – with a quicker decision for those seeking funding below £500. UK wide.
