Time: Sat 23 May 2026 10:00-16:00 | Venue: Darley Street Market

Darley Street Market in Bradford will be holding its first Young Traders Market on Saturday 23 May 2026 in conjunction with the National Market Traders Federation.

Running from 10am to 4pm, the Courtyard of the city centre market will be filled with young people, selling a wide variety of goods.

Young Traders, aged between 16 and 30 (younger than 31 by 28 August 2026), are being invited to take part and trade at this special market.

The market will take place under a covered canopy with a 6ft table provided, and electric is available on request, with no charge for trading.

The traders taking part in the market will also be judged, with the best having the chance to trade at subsequent regional and national markets.

The NMTF said: “Young Traders Markets are pivotal to the industry, revitalising markets across the UK and bringing new ideas into the fold. 94 young traders made it to the national final in Stratford-Upon-Avon in 2025, from over 1,000 applicants who traded at over 70 local markets and eleven regional finals.”

The Young Traders Market will take place in the Darley Street Market Courtyard and on Saturday 23 May and all are welcome to visit and explore the stalls. Applications to trade are now open via the NMTF website at: https://www.nmtf.co.uk/campaigns/young-traders-market-application.
