We are pleased to share details of a fully funded adult learning opportunity available through Skills for Work, which may be of interest to members of your school community, including parents and carers, support staff, and individuals seeking to strengthen their administrative and digital skills.

The Digital Business Operations & Office Skills course is a practical, confidence-building programme for adults aged 19+ who are looking to work in administrative roles, or who want to further develop their existing administration and digital skills for the modern workplace. The course also supports those returning to work or preparing for progression into further learning or employment.

About the Course

This is a non-accredited programme, delivered primarily at Level 2, with Level 3 elements embedded to stretch and challenge learners. It is designed to build confidence, capability, and practical experience through real workplace tasks, offering a structured and supportive learning environment.

Who Is the Course Suitable For?

This course is particularly suitable for adults who are:

  • Aged 19 and over
  • Employed or unemployed
  • Working in, or aspiring to work in, an administrative or office-based role
  • Looking to further develop administration and digital skills
  • Seeking a supported route back into learning or employment
  • Competent in English Language and ICT (minimum Level 1 standard)
