Event Content

Stand Up and Be Counted explores the power of voice and what it means to be heard in this engaging day focused on communication, activism, and self-expression. Students begin by learning how confidence, clarity, and presence shape the way ideas are shared, developing practical skills to speak up in everyday situations.

Across the day, students will encounter different ways people use their voices, from youth-led campaigning and community action to personal storytelling and creative expression. Through interactive workshops and real-life examples, they will explore how ideas turn into action, how stories can challenge assumptions, and how words can build understanding and connection.

Blending discussion, creativity, and practical activity, Stand Up and Be Counted encourages students to reflect on what they care about and how their voices can make an impact.
