FREE Car Seat Checking Event - Ilkley

To be completed by: 15:00

Time: Thu 12 Feb 2026 15:00-15:00 | Venue: South Hawksworth St Car Park, Ilkley

The Road Safety Team has teamed up with Good Egg Safety to run child car seat checking events. Please can you share information about the first car checking event on Thursday, 12 February in Ilkley.

The events are to help parents and carers make sure their children’s car seats are fitted safely and correctly. Each event includes a FREE professional check and child seat fitting guidance, and helpful resources. Data from Good Egg Safety shows that around two thirds of car seats for children are incorrectly fitted.

The three events organised in Bradford so far this year are listed below with links to the Facebook page.

Please share the poster for the Ilkey event on Thursday, 12 February - Car Seat Check Poster Ilkley.
