In November, Bradford Council hosted a Schools’ Climate Action event to help schools write or refine their climate action plans and nominate a sustainability lead by the end of 2025, in line with the Department for Education (DfE) Climate Change Strategy.
Over 50 schools attended the event, many representing their Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), and worked directly with DfE-approved sister projects to strengthen their plans. Attendees also explored our Climate Action Marketplace, showcasing trusted providers
with resources, tools, and programmes to help schools progress towards net zero and build environmental resilience.
