This major, ‘Turbocharging Growth Summit’, will bring together the North’s sharpest political, educational, economic and cultural minds to talk about how a fully devolved Northern Powerhouse could hold the key to unlocking growth, productivity and opportunity
for its people and places and deliver real change; NPEESS26 is about how we tackle prevailing inequalities, increase social mobility and bridge the skills and productivity gaps in all parts of the North.
The North’s Metro Mayors are doing things differently; from MBACC in Greater Manchester, to enterprise zones in West Yorkshire, Liverpool’s Life Science Powerhouse, and South Yorkshire’s Plan for Good Growth. The North’s Mayors are blazing their own trails
