The Learning Team at Bradford Museums are now in a position to offer a new Romans workshop for learners in Key Stage Two. Available at Cliffe Castle, Wednesday-Friday, the workshop focuses on the enquiry 'Did Bradford ever belong to the Romans?'

This workshop uses artefacts and evidence to consider how involved the Romans were in the Bradford disctrict. Learners also engage with the different groups of people who made up Roman society and compare that information to the way that we live now.

As this is a trial workshop, we are offering it for free for the first three schools who get in touch to book. Workshop capacity is 30 learners, however we have an optional additional activity, 'make a Roman mosaic of Bradford' which is teacher led.

Available at Cliffe Castle, Bradford, Wednesday-Friday.
