‘HONK! Bradford’ will transform the District into a vibrant hub of live acoustic music, featuring street performances by bands from across the world, stunning costumes, and audience participation. Free lesson plans and ideas for schools' involvement.
Our mission is to bring music to every part of the district and we are particularly keen to work with schools so children and young people can experience the joy of street music.
On the evening of Friday 26th September 7 - 9pm, visiting streetbands will link with local communities to provide free performances in local venues across the city. The bands will also be playing in public spaces such as high streets and parks on Saturday
27th morning, and again in the Big HONK in and around Centenary Square on the afternoon of the same day.
