There is a junior parkrun for children 4-14 held every Sunday at 9.00 in Bowling Park. It is free, fun and friendly and all are welcome. There are also volunteering opportunities for older children and young people.

Please share the information about this junior parkrun event with the pupils in your schools. Junior parkrun takes place every Sunday at 9.00, near to the children's playground in Bowling Park. All children ages 4 to 14 are welcome to attend and it is always free, but participants will have to register at parkrun.org.uk

The parkrun is also looking for volunteers to help organise the event. These roles would be ideal for any older children who are doing volunteering as part of an award. 

I would be happy to come into school and talk to the children in an assembly about the benefits of parkrun. Please contact bowlingparkjuniors@parkrun.com for any more information.
