Champions programme – a free, innovative teacher training initiative designed to support middle leaders in primary schools and enhance the creative and cultural curriculum.
Why join the Cultural Champions programme? Free national training: Includes one full day and five twilight training sessions (both in-person and virtual).
Creative and cultural learning: Learn how to integrate arts and culture into your curriculum with support from experts at the Royal Ballet and Opera House.
Leadership development: Gain leadership skills to run creative projects and contribute to your school’s improvement plans.
Networking: Connect with fellow educators across the country at the annual Cultural Champions Community Symposium.
How to get involved? Schools are invited to nominate two teachers and one senior leadership team (SLT) member to support the programme. The programme is available in Arun, Bolton, Bradford, Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft, Isles of Scilly, Milton
Keynes, North Kent, North Thames Estuary, and Wolverhampton, as well as one Multi-Academy Trust.
13.5 hours of free training across six modules, plus the opportunity to attend Royal Ballet and Opera performances and engage in CPD sessions focused on Create & Dance, Create & Sing, or Create & Design.
