The Bradford District has experienced a significant increase in the number of children and young people with an EHCP requiring specialist provision, to ensure they are able to have their complex needs fully met and receive the specialist support that is
required for them to thrive. It is projected that demand for specialist places will continue to grow across all sectors.
To support this increased demand for specialist provision, the Local Authority is supporting the following consultations:
Co-op Academy Delius is consulting to increase the number of pupils by 40, to 211 across their sites, using space that is currently occupied by pupils in a resourced provision at Co-op Academy Princeville. In order to accommodate the proposed increase in
the number of special school places, a consultation is taking place to close the resourced provision.

Lidget Green Primary School is consulting to establish a resourced provision in their school – if approved this will replace the resourced provision currently operating at Co-op Academy Princeville which is proposed to close.
