A quick reminder that there are now just 9 days left to get your nominations in for Bradford District’s most prestigious and largest education awards – and we’d hate for your school or college to miss out!

This year’s celebration promises to be bigger and better than ever, taking place in the esteemed Great Hall at the University of Bradford. It’s shaping up to be a brilliant day of recognition and celebration — but nominations close on Sunday 11th May, so don’t delay!

This is your chance to shine a spotlight on the brilliant learners and dedicated staff who’ve gone above and beyond in the 2024/25 academic year. Whether it’s a student who’s overcome challenges to achieve success, or a colleague who’s opened doors to exciting career opportunities for your pupils, now’s the time to shout about it!

Nominations can be made in the following categories:

  • Learner of the Year: Industry Sector Award / Essential Skills
  • Primary Award
  • Sustainability Champion
  • Educator of the Year
  • Outstanding Business Contribution

A few pointers:

  • Got a standout student in secondary or post-16? Nominate them in the Learner of the Year: Industry Sector / Essential Skills category.
  • Have a pupil in primary who’s gone the extra mile? The Primary Award is for them.
  • Know a colleague who’s delivered amazing, careers-connected learning? Nominate them for Educator of the Year.

We’ve already received some fantastic nominations from across the district — but we want to make sure your staff and students are recognised too.

Deadline: Sunday 11th May 2025
