There is a now a junior parkrun every Sunday morning at 9.00 in Bowling Park. All children aged 4 to 14 can take part, and there are also opportunities for older children and adults to volunteer. It is free, friendly and everyone is welcome.
A junior parkrun has now been running in Bowling Park for 7 weeks. This is a wonderful opportunity for children in the community to come out and start their Sunday with a 2km run or walk. It is friendly, free and open to everyone aged 4 to 14. We would also welcome older children who may wish to volunteer as part of a community service award. The event takes place at 9.00 every Sunday near the children's playground in Bowling Park. For more details visit parkrun.org/bowling.org.uk/bowlingpark-juniors
