As part of the EP led EBSA project, we are now offering free consultations for all schools when they have concerns about attendance that are related to emotion based factors. These are intended for when schools have already followed an assess plan do review
process as detailed in the EBSA Guidance (see
Responding to emotionally-based school avoidance (EBSA) | Bradford Schools Online).
We are running regular consultations as we recognise that schools and families often need access to timely support in these situations before patterns of non-attendance become entrenched. These will run fortnightly on Thursdays from 19th September.
All the sessions can be found on Skills4Bradford at
Training & Events | Skills 4 Bradford. Add EBSA into ‘Keywords’ and select ‘Search’ to see all the available sessions. To book, simply select the link ‘EBSA Guidance Consultations’ above the desired date and time.
At the time of booking, schools should complete the EP consent form and select EBSA from the drop down menu and send this securely via Galaxkey to
