your pupils.
Description
The session is led by the Council’s Prevent Team to ensure that governors have a good understanding of their roles and responsibilities. This is to support you in understanding and implementing the key requirements of the UK Government’s Prevent Duty. It
will develop your understanding of what radicalisation is. This well presented and engaging session is suitable for new Governors and for those who have previously attended Prevent training as a refresher. The course includes Prevent updates on guidance and
covers the specific challenges we face in the Bradford District.
Outcomes
Following the session Governors will have an understanding of Prevent. They will be aware of the legal requirements and become aware of their role in supporting schools implementation of Prevent.
