The National Literacy Trust, West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Poet Laureate Simon Armitage with the National Poetry Centre are setting out to inspire the next generation of young poets across West Yorkshire.
During West Yorkshire Poetry Week (30 September – 4 October), a free programme of activities and events, The West Yorkshire Young Poet Laureate competition will launch searching for the region’s next poetry ambassadors in Years 4 and 9.
