The Cycle to Work Scheme is available to council employees* to purchase new bicycles and cycling accessories, up to the value of £4000. The application window opens three time a year, and will be open again this summer from 1st August for 6 weeks.
Huge savings can be made and the cost is spread over 12 months with payments deducted from your monthly salary. Employees will typically save up to 40% of the retail cost of bikes and accessories.
Please look on the online portal for of the bikes and equipment available and scheme details, you can also use local cycle shops that are signed up to the scheme if you prefer.
