This year's theme - Wild World Heroes - in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund, will inspire children to celebrate nature and wildlife, think about the environment and explore ways of standing up for our planet.
All children in the Bradford district from 4 to 12 years can register to join. It's FREE and simply requires having a library ticket ... also FREE.
Each child receives a Wild World Heroes kit bag complete with reading poster to record the books read, stickers and bookmark. Every child will receive a certificate and medal in September/October via their school to acknowledge their reading achievement.
See photo of the materials the children will receive.
There will be events throughout the summer which can be booked via the library. More information and details about these will be available at www.bradford.gov.uk/libraries and our libraries newsletter.
The Wild World Heroes Summer Reading Challenge 2021 starts Saturday 10th July.
Please encourage your pupils to join and include the information on your web pages and newsletters. If you would like to receive a colour flyer to use and sample materials to display at school along with a poster, please email christinea.donnelly@bradford.gov.uk
