British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths that will take place between 5-14 March 2021! This year's theme is "innovating for the future". These events are brought to you by the TransPennine STEM Ambassador Hub. All events FREE of Charge.

The TransPennine STEM Ambassador hub welcomes you to join their fantastic STEM ambassadors in celebration of British Science Week 2021. There is something for everyone, primary schools, high schools, colleges, and families. Please explore the programme by clicking here.

Impact Gamers are delivering a Squish the Glitch session - an interactive streamed workshop for years 5 and 6. Students will learn about the basic principles of coding, why bugs happen, how to problem solve in code and end up contributing to a new game. Impact Gamers won a BAFTA for their mentoring work though games making. This session helps to equip young people with the thought process of reviewing and resolving problems not just on screen but in real life too.

Sessions are free and are being held on 11 & 12 March from 1.30-2.15.  Click here to book your place.
