Bradford Literature Festival

The Virtual School are supporting and promoting Bradford Literature Festival for our Looked After Children

Bradford Literature Festival 2017

Friday 30th June – Sunday 9th July.

Bradford Literature Festival is dedicated to ensuring that the festival is not only as diverse, exciting and inspiring as possible, but that is as inclusive as possible. That is why this year we are contacting groups who work with Looked After Children, to encourage them to get involved in the festival and to urge schools to ensure that all students have the ability to take part. Literature is a fantastic medium through which all young people can feel engaged, learn to express themselves and be enthused about the future.

Bradford Literature Festival is now in its fourth year, and this year’s children and young people’s programme is bigger and better than ever.

The programme is available to all schools, and free to those within the Bradford district. The festival is dedicated to ensuring that all students can come along to any event that interests them. With events on everything from children’s picture books to LGBT rights, there truly is something for everyone.

Please get in touch with Evelyn Griffiths, the Creative Learning Officer at Bradford Literature Festival if you would like any further information on 01274233298 or evelyn@bradfordlitfest.co.uk
