Starting with Introduction to Down syndrome - vital training for all staff working with a child/young person who has Down syndrome - FREE, followed during January and February by training in signing, using visuals to support learning and teaching basic number skills.

Introduction to Down syndrome (FREE) - Wednesday 17th January, 9.30 to 12.30pm


Signing & Down syndrome - 24th & 31st January, both days, 9.30 to 11.30am
COST: £80 per professional/£20 for a second person from the same school/£20 per family member


Let’s Make It Visual—using visual resources to develop the language, communication and   literacy skills of children with Down syndrome - 7th February, 9.30 to 12.30pm
COST: £60 per professional/£15 for a second person from the same school/£15 per family member
 

Teaching basic number skills to children with Down syndrome and other learning difficulties using the Numicon approach - Wednesday 21st Feb ‘24,9.30 to 12.30pm
COST: £60 per professional/£15 for a second person from the same school/£15 per family member
