UK Parliament Week is taking place from 6-12th November and you can now order a free resource pack to use with your learners to help them learn about citizenship, democracy and decision making.

UK Parliament Week 2023 - 6th November 

UKPW is a great opportunity to engage your learners on the themes of citizenship and democracy - encouraging them to be aware of their democratic right to vote and how parliament works. You can sign up today to receive a free kit packed with resources including a Big Ben ballot box, a competitive ‘The Ayes Have It’ board game, an activity booklet and more!

Some of the activities you can do include:

  • lively debates and quizzes
  • discussing issues and holding votes
  • creating petitions
  • themed sessions, assemblies and school council elections
  • baking, crafting and colouring
  • meeting your MP, a member of the Lords, local councillors, mayors, either in person or virtually
