The Changing Futures peer mentoring programme is delivered by students in years 9, 10, 11 and 12 supported by qualified and experienced YMCA Youth Workers. The programme offers youth led emotional wellbeing and mental health mentoring & support for students
making the transition from primary to secondary school.
As part of the programme students will be supported to deliver:
- Peer Mentoring (with accreditation opportunities)
- Wellbeing sessions
- Social Action projects
- Assemblies & Workshops
- Mental Health focused initiatives
For schools interested you will need to be able to identify young people who are interested in Peer Mentoring who will trained to deliver the programme for a May launch in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness
