Bradford Literature Festival - Launch weekend

Bradford Literature Festival celebrates its launch weekend during 26-28 September.

The celebration includes 25 eclectic events featuring 60 speakers, artists and authors to create an inspiring pageant of words, debates and ideas in venues around the city centre.

See www.bradfordliteraturefestival.co.uk for details.

The Bradford Literature Festival reflects the cultural sensibilities of the district’s diverse population. In doing so, the festival is driving Bradford to trail-blaze a cultural offer that is not only innovative, but also befitting to this historic city.

From children’s authors to writers of crime, from absorbing conversations to thought-provoking debates, from masterclasses disseminating industry expertise to riveting historical trails that bring the city’s fascinating past to life, there will be a whole array of enriching events.

Following the September launch weekend, the festival will take place over 10 days each year in May (dates for next year are 15-24 May 2015).

The following events, coming up during 26-28 September are aimed specifically at school children. Please book early to avoid disappointment.  Please see the link to the information at the bottom of the page.
