People Dialogue and Change (PDC), who are carrying out the Bradford Youth Offer Review, are looking for up to 20 young people to join the Young People’s Review Steering Group. This group is a chance to influence the future of services for young people in Bradford. It is just one of the ways the review will help make sure any decisions made about the Youth Offer will take into account the views of young people.  Members of the group will help plan and design the review, and decide what sort of things we discuss with other young people and services working with young people, as well as helping make the final set of recommendations to the council.

Members of the group do not represent the views of other organisations or groups, but we are looking for young people with experience of helping make decisions on services for young people in Bradford, so that we can benefit from these experiences and skills.

What will the group do?

Young people who join the group will take part in a series of workshops to decide

“What we should be asking other young people?”
“What we should be asking youth organisations in Bradford?”
“What recommendations should we make about future services for young people in Bradford”

The group will meet at Culture Fusion, 125, Thornton Road, Bradford, BD1 2EP on Wednesdays from 4.30 – 7.30pm on the following dates: 10, 17, 24 September and 1, October and 5, 12, 19 and 26 November.

  • aged 13-19 (or up to 25 with disability)
  • prepared to get involved, share your ideas and work with other young people as part of a team
  • able to attend all (or most) of the meeting dates

  • Have some experience of volunteering to help organisations run services for young people - for instance you could be a member of a youth forum, a peer educator or a volunteer at your youth organisation.
  • Be nominated by an organisation working with young people in Bradford.
