Forum to look at ways of raising progress for all pupils

The next topic for the district's Public Forum for Education looks at practical ways which will help deliver outstanding progress for every pupil in the district and will also discuss the new special educational needs (SEN) landscape.

Speakers will explore the topic of stretching pupils of all abilities, from those who have learning difficulties and special needs, all the way through to pupils who are gifted and talented.

The Public Forum for Education is a great opportunity for parents, practitioners and young people to hear about and share good practice. Discussions from the forum help contribute to policy making in the district, so we want to hear your views. Anyone with an interest is welcome, so please publicise through your networks and bring friends and colleagues.

The forum takes place on Wednesday 24 September 2014, from 4.30pm – 6.30 pm at Beckfoot School, Wagon Lane, Bingley BD16 1EE.

To book email  Public.Forum.for.Education@bradford.gov.uk or telephone Heidi Hardy on (01274) 434335.
