Safeguarding Week 2014 - w/c 06/10/14

Please see below details of a week filled with events and an opportunity for schools to get involved.

Safeguarding Week will run from Monday 6 to Friday 10 October 2014.

The focus of the week is to provide a range of learning and development opportunities for staff and volunteers working in the sectors of safeguarding adults, domestic abuse and safeguarding children.

The week will provide a series of drop-in events, workshops, lectures and training opportunities to promote safeguarding awareness across the Bradford District.

We have sent out some printed programmes to every school in the district which we hope you will have by now received. This is also available to download on our website along with flyers for events with any additional details. There are also a few extra events that don't appear in the programme listed on here.

We look forward to seeing you at Safeguarding Week 2014.

Note - Please see our other news item regarding a 'Safeguarding Showcase' which gives schools an opportunity to be involved in the week by showing what projects their pupils may have been doing in relation to keeping themselves and others safe.
