Jenni Whitehead is retiring!

After a career spanning 40 years with Bradford Council Jenni Whitehead has decided to take early retirement from her post as Lead Officer for Child Protection, Education.

Jenni began her career as Assistant Matron at Whinburn School for Delicate Children in Uttley, Keighley, on 2 September 1974. Since then Jenni has worked in many residential settings for children and after starting her career in training in 1989, she became one of the first Child Protection Training and Development Officers nationally.

Jenni has delivered training and provided advice and guidance to schools across the district and has worked at Future House since 2002.

Colleagues from schools and across the council are invited to join Jenni on Friday 12 September between 1pm and 5pm at Future House, Conference Room C.

For catering purposes it would be really helpful if you could let Tereza Szabo know if you can attend before Friday 5 September.

If anyone wishes to contribute to Jenni's retirement gift please also contact Tereza.
