Reporting attainment in religious education

Braford Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) has a statutory duty to monitor progress and attainment in religious education.

SACRE asks that schools submit details of end of key stage attainment on the attached form to the Clerk to SACRE, Geraldine Cooper by Thursday 24 July 2014.

In the report  'Religious education - realising the potential' Ofsted identified assessment for learning as being an integral part of effective teaching in RE. Bradford SACRE has, through the current and previous agreed syllabus for RE, stated that assessment for learning is an integral part of learning in RE.

For more information, and support in developing assessment for learning in RE, please contact Geraldine Cooper.

Thank you to the many schools that have already submitted this information.
