Provision of Every Child Counts Mathematics Interventions in 2014/15

From September 2014 onwards there will be a change in arrangements for provision of the Every Child Counts (ECC) interventions Numbers Count, 1stClass@Number and Success@Arithmetic across Bradford and Leeds.

Edge Hill University has commissioned Helen Laflin to lead the Every Child Counts Programmes and fulfil the role of Leeds/Bradford Teacher Leader from September 2014.

Six years on from the start of the Every Child Count programmes Sue Sutcliffe has secured a school leadership post and will be moving on. Consequently Helen Laflin (helen.laflin@hotmail.co.uk ) will return to the role of ECC Teacher Leader and will provide ECC intervention professional development in Bradford and Leeds for schools, teachers and teaching assistants.

Helen and Sue Sutcliffe trained as ECC teacher leaders together in 2008, 2009 and 2010, and have taken every opportunity to work collaboratively to support ECC teachers in Leeds and Bradford. They are continuing to work closely to guarantee the smooth transition and continuous provision of Every Child Counts services for schools in the region.

If you wish to register for any of the ECC intervention programmes for 2014/15 please contact Helen Laflin by e-mail: helen.laflin@hotmail.co.uk or Leanne Hodgson at Every Child Counts Office ECC@edgehill.ac.uk
