Team ESWS raises over £550 for Lord Mayor's Appeal

On Saturday 7 June members of the Education Social Work Service and their families braved the elements to abseil down the Jury's Inn Hotel and raised over £550 for the Lord Mayor's Appeal.

In torrential rain the Education Social Work Service team successfully completed the eight storey abseil of Jury's Inn in aid of the Lord Mayor's Appeal which this year is supporting Bradford Disability Sports and Leisure. The successful abseilers were Tahir Naeem - Education Welfare Officer and his daughter Sairah, Tara Watson - Child Employment Officer, Liz Waite - ESWS Admin, Sarah Dunn - Education Welfare Officer and her 6 year-old-son Kyan and Neil Hellewell - Principal Education Social Worker.

Collectively the team has raised over £550 for the charity and would like to thank all colleagues for their generous support.
