Don’t miss a wonderful chance for your school group to visit this national touring exhibition from Seven Stories, National Centre for Children’s Books at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery. The exhibition will provide excellent support for your pupils in their
classroom work with Early Years Foundation Stage goals and Key Stage 1 Literacy, Art and a range of other cross curricular areas.
The exhibition will bring Julia Donaldson’s captivating stories to life and provide lasting memories for your pupils. They will have the opportunity to find out how she wrote modern classics such as ‘The Gruffalo’, ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ and ‘The Troll’.
They will be able to sing along to songs on Julia’s Jukebox and step inside the A Squash and a Squeeze house. Enjoy dressing up and role play within a stage setting and climb into the cave with Cave Baby cave and meet the Gruffalo. Experience the rhythm and
rhyme of Julia's books through role play, sign language, film and music.
Groups of 8 children or more (Max group size 30 children) must be booked in advance either 10.00 till 12.00 or 12.30 till 14.30, Tuesday to Friday.
