Accredited Health/Safety Training - New IOSH Managing Safely Dates in June

Further dates have been arranged for the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Managing Safely course. An E-learning version may also be an option.

Following the success of previous Managing Safely courses and the very positive feedback we have received we have arranged a course to be held on:
  • Wednesday 11, Thursday 12, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 June 2014 at Holy Family Catholic School in Keighley.

This course is proving extremely popular with Business Managers, Head Teachers and others with a responsibility for managing health and safety in their school.  Successful completion results in a nationally recognised qualification.

Our training provider, Alcumus Academy has so far secured a 100% pass rate for this course.  Group size is around 15 and most, if not all participants are from schools, thus facilitating relevant discussion and the opportunity to share ideas and good practice

Alternatively, if you are particularly keen to undertake this qualification via e-learning please email Anne Marie Ullyott to register your interest.
Almost one half of Bradford schools now has an SLT member with the IOSH Managing Safely qualification.  The Health and Safety Executive, who are the enforcing authority for health and safety in schools, strongly recommend that in all schools at least one member of the management team should have a health and safety qualification.
