MAD Day 2 - The Return!

Time is running out to register for this specatular event in City Park on 26 and 27 June....more

 If your school has not already signed up to MAD Day 2, a chance for an unlimited amount of your pupils to participate in an exciting Mega Sing, Mega Dance, bicycle power generation of electricity to power acts on stage, and fabulous artwork at City Park on 26 AND 27 June,  this is your last chance to do so!

The FINAL closing date for registration is Friday 23 May, after this date there is no guarantee of available places.

There you can also find the risk assessment to download, a resources pack for the dance training, dates to book on to attend the dance training for staff and further details regarding the event.

Resource packs for the songs in the Mega Sing have been sent out to schools who have signed up, this is automatic once you do so.

The area in City Park will be well patrolled with security in attendance, as well as Bradford stewards and Music staff, there will be secure toilets for use of participating schools only as well as disabled toilets.

St John’s Ambulance will be in attendance and there will be marquees and rooms available for lunch bags and pupil belongings to be stored.

All pupils can take part in the singing, dancing and kinetrics (pedal power).  Re artwork participation, schools will be advised as to number of places available per school.

A member of school staff will be required to attend a pre-event walk-through briefing session on 11 June to ensure you are familiar with the area and where your pupils would need to be for each activity.

There will be many drop off and collection points for transport of which you will be advised in advance.  There will be direct access to the site for transport for those with additional needs.
