Adventurous Play Experience

The Adventurous Play Experience (APE) project is a scrap play project operating throughout the Bradford District by Bradford Community Environment Project.

We play with scrap materials which have been reclaimed from the local environment (streets, skips, tips and businesses) and are put together in play packs.

We offer 3 services groups who work with children and young people aged 0-18 in the Bradford District.

The aim of APE is to promote and encourage the potential of waste materials for play, creativity and imagination to children, parents and practitioners. Waste materials are low cost and provide endless opportunities alongside their environmental benefits reducing landfill waste.

Since 2008, our waste materials have been used by over 20,000 children and over 7,000 practitioners who work with children across the Bradford District!

This project is one of 8 projects operated by Bradford Community Environment Project, for more information visit www.bcep.org.uk or contact claire@bcep.org.uk
