Night Zoo Keeper Visits Innovation Centre Bradford Tuesday 1 April

Night Zookeeper is based on a magical story about the adventures of a Night Zookeeper and the fantastical animals he meets. Night Zookeeper Classroom is linked to the National Curriculum. Children read, write and draw their way through a series of challenges within Literacy, Art and Computing.

The Curriculum Innovation Team are very pleased to offer Bradford schools the opportunity to experience first-hand the ‘Night Zoo Keeper’ - Paul Hutson!

Two half day taster sessions are being offered to schools. Each school can bring one adult and four children to a hands on session as below:-

Session 1 (max 5 schools) Tuesday 1 April: 9:30 – 11:30

This session is designed for pupils in Y2 or Y3.

Session 2 (maxi 5 schools) Tuesday 1  April: 12:45 – 14:45

This session is designed for pupils in Y4 or Y5.

"The impact of Night Zookeeper is demonstrable, not only in pupil attitudes towards writing, but in assessments, which took place before half term. We have seen lower confidence writers much more willing to put pen to paper."

Bill Lord, Headteacher, Long Sutton Primary School, Lincolnshire

Both sessions are free to any subscribing schools (non-subscribing schools price is £25). The sessions will be delivered at the new Innovation Centre Bradford, Bradford Design Exchange, 34 Peckover Street, Little Germany, BD1 5BD.
