Educational underachievement of White Working Class children

The aim of this conference is to examine the barriers to learning and school strategies in raising the achievement of white Working Class pupils in schools.

The conference brings together some of the leading experts and practitioners to engage in panel discussions and to share best practice on what works in narrowing the achievement gap.  Successful practice is shared by  headteachers, teachers, researchers and school improvement professionals. There will also be speakers from the DfE and Ofsted.

The conference will also will look at key findings and recommendations of the Education Select Committee on the underachievement of the White Working Class.

All delegates will receive complimentary hard copies of three research reports into raising the achievement of White Working Class Pupils.
