Anne Frank and U Exhibition Launch 19 March 2014

Bradford will host the forth visit of the Anne Frank [+ you} touring exhibition in March-April 2014. The exhibition is part of the Stand up, Speak out, Speak out, Make a Difference programme coordinated by the Diversity and Cohesion Service at Bradford Council.

Over 120 children from 10 secondary schools from across the district will be trained as Ambassadors and through pupil voice, they will guide other school children and members of the public around the exhibition telling Anne Frank’s story from her dairy and relating the issues they think affect them today as young people.

The launch for the event is taking place on Wednesday 19 March 6-8pm, which will be of great interest to all teaching staff as well as secondary school Safeguarding Leads. There will be various student contributions on the night, which include a performance by Tong High School’s Ignite theatre group who have out together a bespoke piece for the event, based on grooming.
