Free Media Museum one-hour event with local boy made good -Jonathan Speight

HEART is a new exciting partnership between 12 higher education providers in West Yorkshire. HEART is dedicated to supporting under-represented groups to access and benefit from Higher Education. A free event is taking place at the Media Museum Cubby Theatre on Monday 10 March from 4 to 5 pm

Take your 15 to 17 year old young people along to hear local lad Jonathan Speight tell the story of how he has gone from failing his exams at school to launching Straight PLC on the Stock Exchange.

Since 1993 Straight PLC has been making money out of your rubbish, garden compost and recycling. Without even knowing it, the chances are the bin, recycling point or compost bin you use was made by Straight PLC.
