Bradford Birth to 19 has been re-commissioned by the Bradford Opportunity Area to provide training and support to Early Years settings.

Recognising the profound impact of the pandemic on Bradford’s youngest children, we will be planning and delivering training to support settings, children and families during this period of recovery.

Sustained Shared Thinking - One course run over 5 afternoons - Hosted by Newby Primary School

Session 1 - 6th April 2022, 1pm-4pm, Intro to Sustained Shared Thinking

Session 2 - 4th May 2022, 1pm-4pm, Communication and Language

Session 3 - 18th May 2022, 1pm-4pm, Personal, Social and Emotional Development

Session 4 - 15th June 2022, 1pm-4pm, Physical Development

Session 5 - 29th June 2022, 1pm-4pm, Specific Areas of Learning

These series of session will focus on supporting Early Years practitioners, leaders and support staff in the development of high quality early years provision and interactions through Sustained Shared Thinking and Emotional Wellbeing Scales. There will be an opportunity to see this in practice and explore and understand the supporting research. We strongly advise that all sessions within the course are attended.
