Fishing has many benefits and is an effective tool to counter the effects of the pandemic on the mental health and wellbeing of both young people and adults alike.
The Community Play and Development Service within Bradford Council, alongside their other play events, can now also offer fishing experiences to young people and adults.
After one of the fishing experiences, clients have reported an improvement in confidence building, skills development, coordination, conduct, behaviour, patience, concentration and resilience
